READ ME: Discover why I highly recommend these vintage lenses for your collection! This review series focuses not on technical specs, but on the lens’ unique character, quirks, and my personal experiences with each.

If you have any questions feel free to leave a comment or direct message me on IG @foxfotoco , I’ll happily respond to anyone!

Size/Weight: Narrow and short, but not a nifty 50 size. Shockingly small for a 105mm though.

Favorite Usage: As a sort of zoomed in 50mm, this lens carries the same feel of a 50mm just with a longer reach. I use it for street portraits, flowers, and narrow field street photography.

Issues: None with this specific lens, sometimes 105mm can be an odd focal lenght for photographers to get used to. I would try and use it as a 50mm but from farther away.

Notable Features: F2.8 for a cheap 105mm is pretty nice, AND it’s sharp at this aperture as well.

Usable Aperture Range: F2.8 to F8 seems to be the sweet spot.
