Thanks Gareth, I would agree that the Leica has more character, but the real world bulk and heft of the camera never made it worth it. If I want character I have my smaller Leica CL (spoiler , the files are virtually identical, for half the weight). As well as my CCD Epson or Monochrom Leica M246. The SL does a little bit of everything the other cameras in my lineup do, but was just never pleasing to actually use.
