First things first, I don’t hate the Sony A7iii but it really never suited me well. It served me well but it never quite “suited” me well, and that’s because I am (like everyone else) fairly unique.

Yes, I know, just like everyone else, I already called myself out. Let’s skip the eyeroll and get into the dust and grime on why specifically the A7iii wasn’t for me and why the Canon R6 blew me away. In fact, it blew me away enough to double down and also buy it’s more expensive and more mega-pixel-ly brother , the Canon R5 (more on this powerhouse in a later post).
