Not everyone has the luxury of having multiple bodies, but it might be a mind-hack to view one body as your video camera and one as your stills. This of course leads to an excuse to buy more and more gear we don’t “really” need. However, perhaps having a physical difference to switch between bodies would train your brain to mentally reach into the video mode on your camera, and vice versa.

I did some music videos last year and the B roll camera stayed on video only , but the A cam, I would switch back to still because I was more particular with it anyways.
