I loved your point with the bands. I think the bands “matured” overtime because who they were changed. Also some of my/your favorite bands when we were kids, might not speak to us anymore now.

Maybe in our 20s we were black and white purist photographers, but became infatuated with the color yellow (or excluding blue, who cares).

A style means you’re stuck, but maybe you can come back to it and enjoy it for a while too. I’ve been diving more into the Grateful Dead lately , though my music listening background was always in hardcore punk and hip hop , but I’ll probably wander back to the punk playlists again too.

It’s good to wander, and to have somewhere to come back to as well :)
