As a photographer myself, it often feels like some of my favorite photos get the least amount of recognition. This can be challenging and defeating to creatives and bring up other elements of their story when they answer. - Who are your biggest non-photography focused artistic influences?
Many photographers don’t start as photographers. Often they fall into photography on accident because of some other pursuit. Find out what that other pursuit was, or discover another dimension of their creative process. - Describe how photography is important to your personal community and social life.
Do they have a team? Do they go on walks with their friends? Does their passion make them more social? Do they use it to escape and just think? - How do you define success as a photographer?
