100% the same process for me, I was interested in the rumored BSI and stacked aspects + 4 more mpx seemed like a worthwhile upgrade , the $2500 price point is the exact same as the original R6 so having zero price inflation for notable performance increases didn’t bother me. I will now contradict my other message and say that it’s probably too soon to say for sure if the R6mk2 is a let down or not. I’m constantly pleased by my current R6 even with just 20mpx so maybe a new processor plus a larger (although “older”) sensor would manage to be a real upgrade. It just seems like a lot of info on the camera is still vague.
